January – June 2026, Volume 11, Issue 1
India’s growth trajectory is increasingly being shaped by a structural shift in its industrial composition. As emerging sectors gain prominence alongside traditional industries, understanding this transition becomes critical. In this context, the theme of this issue, “Evolution of India’s Industrial Mix: Tracking High Potential Sectors”, seeks to examine the sectors that are poised to drive the next phase of economic expansion.
India’s rapid and dynamic growth story is expected to be supported by a set of high-potential sectors, enabled by the right mix of policy support, capital allocation, and innovation ecosystems. Journal contributors were encouraged to explore areas such as:

- Renewable Energy & EV Ecosystem: Clean energy, EVs, green hydrogen scale-up.
- Healthcare and Health-Tech: Digital health, AI diagnostics, insurance expansion.
- Data Centers & Digital Infrastructure: Hyperscale data centers driving digital demand.
- Space and Advanced Manufacturing: Private space and defense manufacturing growth.
We received a diverse range of submissions from institutions across the country, each offering unique perspectives on the evolving industrial landscape. The selection process was rigorous, with several well-researched and insightful papers in consideration. The articles featured in this issue demonstrate strong analytical depth, originality, and relevance, capturing both the opportunities and challenges associated with India’s industrial transformation. We hope that this issue provides meaningful insights into the sectors shaping India’s economic future and fosters further discussion on the policies, investments, and innovations required to sustain this transition.
