Welcome to the Tapmi Journal of Economics and Finance (TJEF), where we’re all about making finance and economics a delightful and engaging journey! If you’re tired of those dry, stuffy journals that read like a foreign language, you’ve come to the right place. We’re here to prove that finance and economics can be as fascinating as your favorite Netflix series, minus the cliffhangers (well, mostly).
TJEF is the brainchild of Dr. Madhu Veeraraghavan – Pro Vice-Chancellor (MAHE, BLR); Pro Vice Chancellor (Management, Law, Humanities and Social Sciences)who is more than just an educator and researcher; he’s a beacon of inspiration in the world of finance and economics. His passion, expertise, and dedication to making finance accessible and impactful have left an indelible mark. He took it upon himself to forge a platform where students could freely voice their thoughts and opinions within the realm of finance and economics.

Our mission is simple yet ambitious: we want to be the leading student-run journal in the world of banking, economics, and finance. No more snooze-worthy articles filled with jargon you need a PhD to decipher. We’re here to break it down, make it fun, and invite everyone to the financial party.
