What is FinVisor?
Finvisor is a national-level personal finance and investment strategy case competition designed to simulate real-world financial decision-making.
Participants step into the role of a financial planner and are challenged to design a goal-based investment portfolio under realistic economic conditions. The competition blends concepts from personal finance, investments, macroeconomics, and strategy, encouraging participants to think beyond textbook theory.
Unlike conventional case competitions, Finvisor focuses on life centric finance how individuals plan, invest, and grow wealth while balancing risk, uncertainty, and long-term goals.

Why Participate in Finvisor?
Competition Structure
Finvisor is conducted in multiple stages, designed to test both conceptual understanding and strategic execution.
Round 1: FinSparks Quiz
Participant shall put his financial intelligence to the test in the FinSparks Quiz to identify the next generation of finance planners. The team captain will have 15 minutes in the online eliminator round featuring 25 challenging questions across personal finance, investing, and global economics. This round will assess participant’s speed, accuracy, and understanding of real-world financial concepts.
Round 2: The Money Blueprint Challenge (Case Competition)
The Money Blueprint Challenge is a dynamic personal finance case competition designed to test participating teams’ ability to think as real-world financial planners and strategists. It challenges the participants to design an investment roadmap that balances growth, risk, and liquidity while adapting to the changing market conditions and evolving family goals.
Round 3: FinVision Round
In the final round, the shortlisted teams step into The Boardroom, where their financial strategies meet real-world scrutiny. Participants will present their 10-year financial roadmap, showcasing how effectively they’ve balanced risk, return, and goal achievement while adapting to macroeconomic shifts and market disruptions. Each team must defend its assumptions, justify its investment choices, and demonstrate clarity in both numbers and narrative. The focus is on strategic thinking, analytical depth, and presentation finesse similar to a real client pitch to a financial advisory board.
